Supersize me: a Pre-Int lesson

I’ve always been fascinated by real-life stories and food is a topic that will always go down well in a classroom so when Morgan Spurlock brought out Supersize Me I was fascinated. I know it’s a bit old now but I still think it’s a goodie,

so here are some materials for a  lesson on the Morgan Spurlock documentary: supersize me_lesson.

Use them however you want, just note:

The reading text is aimed at Pre-Intermediate level students but can obviously be adapted. I usually show the youtube video afterwards. It’s a bit difficult so it’s necessary to do the lesson first to provide a basis and possibly watch it more than once.

For more advanced classes, this youtube clip is a great foundation for a discussion class.

Enjoy!

One of my favourite things to do when in a new city is to wander the streets with nowhere to go...#kualalumpur Just when you think you've seen enough temples....#kl #malaysia Historic Granada, in the south of Spain, has architectural surprises around every corner. A great city to wander around on sunny afternoons. Just north-east of Bordeaux, Saint Emilion is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a picture-perfext setting for some delicious wine tasting.
