a story about bad grammar and non-existent punctuation and my TEFL adventures
So I’m now safely back in Cape Town and very happy to be back. I realised I haven’t posted for a while and I didn’t understand why until this morning. This blog has been about my TEFL adventures for the last 15 years. My TEFL life has taken me to Thailand, China, Spain, England and so many countries in-between and that has been what I have written about. So now that I’m home, it feels like the end of an era.
It’s not, of course, but I enjoy being dramatic. Basically what this means is that this blog will now be less about my travels (though I know I won’t always be able to stop myself from reminiscing) and more about cool things to do in the classroom. I have always been a big fan of trawling the internet looking for activities and worksheets to use in class that I haven’t had the time to put together myself or that I wasn’t smart enough to think of, so this is my time to do some payback.
Any requests for activities or materials just give me a holler and I’ll see what I can do.
And just like that: I’m back 🙂
